Tighten door handle sub zero.

There should be a small set screw on the inside of the handle opposite side of the picture. Tighten the handle screws from the back side. A 3 32 allan wrench is needed to tighten the set screw on a sub zero stainless steel handle. A small amount of blue loctite may also prevent the mounting stud from loosening in the.

Both l shaped and flat allan wrenches can be used. Remove the screws from the side mounting brackets. Remove the molding trim from the hinge side of unit or bottom of drawer. Remove the panel by pulling down and out to release the panel mounting tabs from the drawer.

Remove the handle by removing the set screws from the underside of both handle standoffs. Don t over tighten as they strip easily because they are so small. This may be part of an allan wrench set or can be purchased through a local hardware store. Remove the molding trim from the hinge side of unit or bottom of drawer.

This is usually driven with a small allen key. Use whatever screwdriver or wrench is appropriate to tighten this screw and firm up the doorknob s grip on the spindle. Once the handle and standoffs are removed from the door tighten the standoff mounting stud with a flat head screwdriver. Handle only is loose tighten the set screw on the bottom of the handle standoff with a 3 32 allen wrench.

Remove the magnetic caps covering the side mounting brackets. There is no direct metric equivalent for a 3 32 allen wrench. Remove the screws from the side mounting brackets. Refer to the images above. Designer formerly integrated series remove the molding trim from the door or drawer. Tighten the handle.

Contact factory certified service to schedule an appointment for repair. If the end caps are tight to the door and the handle is loose service is needed. The door must be partially disassembled to tighten the handle. Remove the magnetic caps covering the side mounting brackets.
