Referencing tijuana moods lp album mono lpm 2533 i have a copy of this lp but under the title flamingo and with a different cover it was released by rca in new zealand.

Tijuana moods comes after two great charles mingus hits like pithecanthropus erectus and the clown although it wasn t released until a few years after being recorded.

The name charlie mingus appears on the cover of the original album. All songs were composed by mingus except flamingo. There is also an expanded album that was issued in 2000 comprised of two cds and containing a number of alternate takes ideal for the mingus completest. No vinyl cdr 38 listed for sale.

And nota bene the recordings were already five years old. 2 cd expanded versions with further alternate takes were issued by rca in 2000 and by columbia in 2010.
